They’re here! Workshop Dates Spring 2024

I’m excited to tell you about my upcoming sewing workshops and couture dressmaking masterclasses.

Elevate your sewing and craft skills to new heights, learn the techniques used by renowned designers and embark on a journey into the world of high-end fashion.

From working with fine fabrics such as silks and laces, to learning couture techniques that transform your dressmaking, to crafting exquisite flowers and bows, there’s plenty to choose from.

All workshops take place in my studio opposite the magical Sugnall Walled Garden, where you’ll be surrounded by inspirational mood boards, beautiful fabrics, delicate laces and vintage haberdashery and trimmings. Empty boxes of laces and ribbons, and tip out jars of velvet flowers, and vintage beads and buttons.

Couture masterclasses are suitable for dressmakers who already have some experience and who are keen to elevate their sewing and broaden the repertoire of garments that they are confident to make. Dive into some couture tricks and techniques that will enhance your dressmaking and enable you to create high-end garments that you can be proud of. Create the ultimate handmade designer wardrobe!

Sewing workshops - couture bows and fabric flowers are suitable for beginners and experienced dressmakers alike. You’re even welcome if you’d like to spend a few hours in the studio surrounded by pretty things and sew-a-long-chatter.

And you don’t need any sewing skills if you’d like to book the “How to make a mood board workshop”.

To ensure the best experience workshops are kept small with limited places. All materials are provided, so you don't need to bring anything. And tea and coffee, lunch and delicious cakes are included.

  • If you would prefer to gather a friend and spend a day in the atelier together, workshops can also be organised as a private group sewing lessons.

  • Perhaps you’d like to buy a workshop or a couture masterclass as a present for someone? Gift Certificates are available too.

I know I’m always content if I’m busy making something. There’s nothing better than the kettle on, tea in a pretty china cup, and happy stitch-a-long chatter! I love a bit of sparkle and can’t wait to gather and stitch again! I can’t wait to teach you couture techniques and the trade secrets for real-life sewing and enable you to create beautiful clothes and accessories to treasure!

You can book here.
