A Welsh Escape

Enjoying the last few days of a Welsh staycation,  and the weather couldn’t have been better. It’s usually moody, grey and misty, but it’s so pretty on a summer’s day!

Llanbedrog is pretty village on the lleyn, with brightly coloured beach huts on the beach. There’s  a beautiful walk over the headland, followed by delicious cake and tea at the Plas Glyn Y Weddw.

The view from Llanbedrog headland

The  brightest blue skies with puffy clouds and flowers and berries on the headland. Walking amongst the heather with a patchwork of green fields and hills in the distance, and when the mountains appear across the bay it's a real tonic for the soul!

And hydrangeas of every hue…

This view! I want to paint it!

Feeling happy, healthy, rested and blessed.
