Terms And Conditions
Here are our Booking Terms and Conditions so you know what to expect and to help us provide you with a great experience.
Workshops held at Sugnall
WORKSHOP EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS
Workshop materials and equipment, including sewing machines are provided as detailed in the workshop description.
LOCATION
Workshops are held at Unit 1A Sugnall Business Centre, ST21 6NF, in my light-filled attic studio on the first floor. Please be aware that the studio is on the first floor and can only be a flight of stairs.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
Our workshops are small, and tend to fill up fast—so before you book your place, please double-check the date in your diary and take a moment to read through our Terms & Conditions.
Full payment is required at booking to secure your place. Our online booking process is secure and accepts payments by credit or debit card.
Workshops are non-refundable.
If you need to cancel 15 or more days in advance, you may transfer to another workshop, subject to availability.
You can also transfer your booking to another person for the same date. Please let us know their name at least 24 hours in advance so we can make them feel welcome on the day.
CANCELLATION BY US
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a workshop, you will receive as much notice as possible and be offered a transfer to another workshop of the same price or a full refund. Unfortunately, we are not liable for any other expenses or costs you may incur in the event of cancellation by us.
COURSES AND MULTI-DAY WORKSHOPS
Please ensure you can attend all the sessions. The courses are designed to build on the previous session’s work, and we are unable to provide catch-up time within a planned session if you miss an earlier session. If you require further tuition to complete your project private tuition can be booked.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Please wear suitable clothing and footwear to practical classes. Sewing uses tools that are sharp and can be dangerous. We will guide you on how to use the equipment safely, but please be aware you do so entirely at your own risk. You will be asked to complete a Disclaimer and Waiver Form before the workshop begins.
TIMEKEEPING
Each workshop has sufficient time allocated for you to complete your project. Please arrive a few minutes before the time advertised as we are unable to delay the start of the session or guarantee that we can provide the chance for you to catch up. If you are running late please inform us by phone on 07815 740116 before your lesson is due to begin.
AGREEMENT
By placing an order you are agreeing to our Terms & Conditions.
Intellectual Property
Please note that I retain the intellectual property of all my ideas. This means that you can’t go into business making copies of my designs, or replicate this workshop elsewhere. However, you can use the ideas and skills taught during my workshops to create for your own pleasure or to make gifts for friends and family.
General Liability
We are not liable for any accidents or injuries on our premises or in our workshops, or any direct or consequential loss that may arise from them. We are not liable for any loss or damage to your property or belongings during our workshops. We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so.
