We Gathered And Beaded…
Vintage Beads & Buttons Workshop 2024
We gathered, we chatted, we drank copious quantities of tea in the prettiest china cups, ate lots of chocolate chip cookies, and we created these sparkly things!
We sat around the big wooden table in my studio. There were jars of buttons, glass crystals and beads, and Vintage brooches galore…
It became a hive of creativity. And it was everything I hoped it would be! We made buttons flowers, wired crystals and diamantés and even created a beaded dragonfly or two!
We caught up with friends and made new ones too. We rediscovered a love of sewing, and found a confidence in creativity that we had almost forgotten. For a wonderful few hours we all made a beaded haircomb with lots of pretty vintage bits and bobs. It was the best kind of day!
